Since 2016, BIKAR has been certified as an aerospace supplier according to DIN EN 9120 and has since established itself as a reliable supplier in the aerospace market. The establishment of our own production facilities in the UK and India was a logical step for the company to further expand the market for its service offerings. "With the new locations in Bristol and Belagavi, we are optimally positioned to further advance our internationalisation strategy in the aerospace business," says Alexander Bikar, Managing Director of BIKAR AEROSPACE METALS. He adds, "This expansion enables us to respond more quickly to market demands and offer our customers customised solutions for their semi-finished material needs."
A strategy that is paying off. Since this year, BIKAR has become the new main supplier for Sonaca Belgium. The long-term contract includes comprehensive procurement, warehousing, processing and picking services for aluminium aerospace plates and sheets.
